In February 2022, the Investors Council formed a working group to address obstacles concerning the construction sector, notably to identify challenges in the construction sector’s regulatory framework and propose solutions to ease operating climate for the private sector.
The first online meeting of the working group took place on March 1, 2022.
During the meeting, in order to provide the overview of the current situation, the ICS presented the primary research on economic trends and existing challenges in the construction sector. The study highlighted the shortcomings that investors encounter in terms of construction permissions and other legal norms and regulations.
After the presentation, the members of the working group provided their feedback and discussed possibilities to tackle the above-mentioned problems.
