On 1st of March, the Investors Council’s members organized a meeting with the Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia’s representatives: Deputy General Director, Mr. Zaza Khundadze; Head of Customs Department, Mr. Zurab Sichinava and Head of International Relations Department, Mr. Samson Uridia.
During the meeting, the representatives of the Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia presented ongoing and forthcoming reforms in customs and revenue service departments; the Investors Council’s members discussed the key issues the business sector encounters during import/export procedures. The discussion topics also included issues with transit procedures, soft and hard infrastructure for customs services, status of Authorized Person, etc..
The parties agreed to continue cooperation to further improve services and customs procedures.
