On 7th of October, the Investors Council Secretariat hosted the Meeting of the Investors Council’s members with the Head of the National Agency for Sustainable Land Management and Land Use Monitoring- Mr. Giorgi Misheladze.
The meeting participants discussed the current activities of the Agency, as well as the interest from foreign investors to buy agricultural land for investment purposes and to go through investment plan approval procedures provided for in the Georgian legislation.
The attendees considered possible ways to make the agricultural sector more attractive for FDI by revisiting procedures for approval of investment plans set forth in the relevant Resolution of the Government (Nr. 222, 18/05/2021).
