In response to the growing influx of international students in Georgia, the Investor's Council Georgia (ICS), in collaboration with UNDP and with the support of the Swedish Government, conducted a study on the internationalization of the country’s higher education system.

In September 2023, the Investors Council Secretariat initiated a comprehensive study of entrepreneurial legislation to assess its gender impact and pinpoint potential barriers faced by women entrepreneurs.

With the support of the European Union (EU) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has launched a Feasibility Study for Introduction of Contrailer (Ro-La) Services in Georgia and Azerbaijan. This study will be carried out by the Railistics GmbH in partnership with the Civitta International OU, both selected through the EBRD's tendering process.

With the support of the Investors Council, the EBRD has launched a technical assessment for digitalizing environmental permits for the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia. This assessment will be carried out by the Policy and Management Consulting Group (PMCG), selected through the EBRD's tendering process.

Anna Iluridze, a gender expert for Investors Council Secretariat, conducted a training session for the employees and members of Investors Council, aimed at promoting gender equality in the workplace by hosting a workshop on Unconscious Gender Bias.

On July 9, 2024, a working meeting was held to address the challenges facing commercial arbitration in Georgia. The gathering included members of the Investors Council (IC) of Georgia, representatives from the Georgian Association of Arbitrators (GAA) and practicing experts in commercial arbitration.

Mr. Alexander G. Fessas, the Secretary General of the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), met with members of the Investors Council, along with Georgian business leaders, representatives of diplomatic community and international organizations at the Biltmore Tbilisi Hotel on 14 June 2024.

On June 7, 2024, the Investors Council Secretariat hosted another meeting of the Green Economy Transition Working Group, where the Roadmap for the Long-term Low Emission Development Strategy 2050 (Lt-LEDS) was presented.

On May 14, a working meeting was held to discuss the challenges facing commercial arbitration in Georgia, organized by the Investors Council Secretariat.

On 11th of April, the Investors Council’s members organized a meeting with Mr. Vakhtang Tsintsadze, Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, and with Mr. Mirza Gelashvili, Deputy Minister of Finance of Georgia.

On 8th of April, the Investors Council Secretariat hosted the presentation of the key findings of the Gender Impact Assessment (GIA) on the Law on Entrepreneurs.

The Investors Council’s 22nd meeting chaired by the Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze was held on March 22, 2024.

Georgia’s ranking in the OECD Country Risk Classification has improved by one step.

The Investors Council continues supporting the development of Georgia’s tourism potential in collaboration with the Georgian National Tourism Administration (GNTA).

On February 10-11, 2024, representatives of the Investors Council Secretariat participated in a policy advocacy workshop, organized by the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE).

On February 9, 2024, the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia with the support of the Investors Council Secretariat, hosted a discussion on the progress of the factoring reform, including the new draft of the law and subsequent stages of the reform implementation.

On 21st of December, the Investors Council’s Gender Equality (GEWG) working group’s 2023 sum-up meeting was held.

On the 5th of December, the 6th Annual Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs) Conference was held, jointly organized by the UN Women Georgia and the Investors Council.
