The Investors Council Secretariat published the annotations to the Georgian Law on Entrepreneurs (which entered into force in January 2022) with the support of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the UK Government’s Good Governance Fund (GGF). The authors of the book "Annotations to the Georgian Law on Entrepreneurs" are Giorgi Giguashvili and Giorgi Jugeli (Legal Expert of the Investors Council Secretariat).
The presentation of the book "Annotations to the Georgian Law on Entrepreneurs" was held on 13th of April, at “Stamba” Hotel. The list of the invited guests included the IC Members, representatives of the parliament and other stakeholders.
Giorgi Jugeli, Legal Expert of the Investors Council Secretariat and the co-author of the book moderated the event. The speakers Ms. Catarina Bjorlin Hansen (EBRD, Regional Director for the Caucasus), Mr. Mikheil Sarjveladze (Chairman of the Committee for Human Rights and Civil Integration of the Parliament) and Mr. Nika Nanuashvili (Legal Director of the Business Association of Georgia) delivered their speeches in front of the audience.
The book "Annotations to the Georgian Law on Entrepreneurs" will later be distributed among judges, universities, Investors Council members, and other stakeholders free of charge. The electronic version of the book is available on the Investors Council’s Website: www.investorscouncil.ge
