On February 10-11, 2024, representatives of the Investors Council Secretariat participated in a policy advocacy workshop, organized by the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE). The event was attended by representatives from 35 organizations.
The objective of the workshop was to discuss labor regulation issues and plan the advocacy campaign.
Giorgi Cherkezishvili, Head of the Investors Council Secretariat, talked about the advocacy practices in Georgia, while Dr. George Jugeli, Legal Expert at the Investors Council Secretariat, led the session on identifying priority issues in relation to labor regulations. Head of the Labor Inspection Office, Beka Peradze and his deputy, Nato Natenadze, presented the activities and upcoming strategy of the Labor Inspection Office to the attendees.
