Investors Council meeting chaired by Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili was held yesterday.
The meeting’s participants discussed the Investors Council’s plans for 2023-2024 and finalized projects.
The conversation touched on ongoing and planned large economic projects, on which the Government’s economic team is actively working on instructions from the Prime Minister.
Initiatives for the development of green economy, the mining industry’s opportunities and challenges, the internationalization of Georgia’s education system, topics pertaining to cooperation within the scope of the Black Sea Platform, and the directions of the development of the Middle Corridor Transit Route were discussed at the meeting.
The discussed topics also included the Investors Council’s engagement in the ongoing reforms on the path to European integration. The members of the Investors Council expressed commitment to continuing supporting every step or reform of the Government designed to bolster Georgia’s EU integration and the successful implementation of the Association Agreement.
